The A Gem Quad is a multi-band antenna with superior performance and durability. Gem Quad Products is a 40 year old business with a new start. Gem Quad Products is now under new ownership and will be manufactured in 2009. The Tridedic fibreglass spreader design, offers a low wind resistance while being very strong and light weight. The design has been known to withstand winds over 100 mph and ice storms. The fibreglass spreaders are attached to a light weight aluminium spider hub. The spreaders are angled outwardly allowing the driven and reflector elements to be optimized at one eighth of a wavelength apart for each HF band.
